Showed up at 11:30 on Wednesday (they close at 12 that day) and there was a full waiting room. When I arrived there were only 2 windows going. Shortly after arriving, they closed down the 2nd window while more people were trickling in. I ended up with a wait of about 20 minutes, which wasn't terrible, and they ended up reopening a 2nd window as I was leaving at 12. The woman at the window was also pleasant. I think it would have been pertinent to have more windows staffed, but it wasn't a terrible experience.
Advisors are not very knowledgeable on matters. Supervisor even had to "get back to me" after inquiring about a matter, but never called. Suggest Corinth MS office as a much better alternative. Also, telephone call to SS located in PA resulted in a resolution to my issue.
I always have a terrible experience at the Social Security office. The lines are always long and they usually make you take a number. Then you sit there for hours on end and usually you go home upset.
